Our Operations

Gustavsberg Gymnasium is a municipal upper secondary school with approximately 160 students located in Gustavsberg harbor. Our programs include the Child and Youth Sector program, the Social Science program, and all introductory programs, including special educational activities.

Your Role

As a student assistant, you will play a crucial role in the student's achievement of goals. At our school, we have a strong sense of teamwork, and we continuously work to optimize students' academic results. You will act as a mentor and follow the student throughout the entire school day to ensure they have good conditions for participating in teaching, related assignments, and exams. You will also serve as a sounding board for teachers when they plan lessons. The student uses a wheelchair, and the role involves being available during lessons, breaks, lunch, for personal hygiene, during any trips, and for transporting materials to lessons.

Your Experience

Succeeding in the role of student assistant requires close and structured collaboration with the student, teachers, and guardians, as well as a good understanding of the school's mission.

You need to have relevant education, such as a commissioned training course for student assistants at a folk high school or another equivalent education deemed adequate by the employer.

Several years of experience working as a student assistant is a requirement.

We are looking for you who are a skilled relationship builder, organizer, and collaborative partner. You are good at independently organizing and prioritizing your work.

Multilingualism is an advantage, especially Somali.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
