Job Responsibilities

We are now opening the doors for a new colleague to our fantastic lower primary section at Turingeskolan. You are welcome to a school with well-functioning teams and engaged colleagues where school development is a constant ongoing process. We have close collaboration both in the grade-level teams and in the work groups to support and contribute with our different competencies and strengths. In addition to your closest colleagues, you have access to special education teachers, special pedagogues, counselors, school nurses, and school psychologists who work closely within the operations to contribute their expertise when requested and needed.

About the Operations

Turingeskolan is a grades F-6 school located in Nykvarn. There are 370 students at the school and we are approximately 40 colleagues. We have two parallel classes in most grades, except for grade 4 which has three parallel classes. The school is located near the Hökmossen bathing area with close access to nature. We have good opportunities to create varied and interesting teaching in our classrooms with adjacent study rooms, one-to-one Chromebooks, a schoolyard, and a nature-adjacent location. Our schoolyard offers a lovely variation of forest, plains, and activity yards. We have good prerequisites and the municipality has high expectations for our operations. The vision is that Nykvarn's preschools and schools should become the best in Sweden. We are already on a good path to achieving that goal. Our strength lies in having a competent staff group with high ambitions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach in grades 1-3. You are driven, positive, and enjoy collaborating to achieve common success, as well as being solution-focused and inviting consultation.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we consider it an advantage if you speak Finnish.
