About American High School, Stockholm - Campus Frescati Hage

In the autumn of 2023, we started a high school at Brunnsviken in the nature-rich Norra Djurgårdsstaden district. The school is entering its fourth academic year this autumn and has approximately 500 students studying on the Natural Science, Social Science, or Business programs. Teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish by a competent teaching team with a strong sense of community.

About the role

We are looking for a teacher to instruct our students in mathematics and physics. We are also currently looking for teachers in chemistry, natural science, and AI, so if you wish to combine these subjects with your application, please specify this.

You will be responsible for planning, conducting, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical structure, for which you will receive guidance. You will work closely with an engaged and cohesive teaching team, where collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of everyday life. You will teach in a digital environment using digital learning materials combined with traditional literature. Teaching is conducted in both Swedish and English.

The position also includes class mentoring.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date August 3, 2026, or as agreed.

Your profile

For this position, a Swedish teaching license is required, as well as eligibility to teach mathematics and physics at the high school level. Experience in teaching these subjects, preferably at the high school level, is highly meritorious. You have a strong commitment to teaching and want to develop the operations together with a strong team of colleagues, and you share our pedagogical view:
