Your role

You teach wood and metal crafts in grades 3–9, as well as in some parts within the adapted primary school. The assignment involves meeting students of different ages and with different prerequisites, which places demands on flexibility, clarity, and good didactic ability.

The role includes:

• planning, implementing, and following up on crafts teaching based on the curriculum
• creating a safe, structured, and secure learning environment in the craft rooms
• inspiring students to create and solve problems through craftsmanship and materials
• adapting teaching so that it is accessible to all students
• building good relationships and clear leadership in the student group
• collaborating with colleagues, student health services, and school leadership
• contributing to the school's joint development work

The assignment does not include mentorship, which gives you good opportunities to focus on teaching.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher in crafts with a focus on wood and metal
• have experience of teaching in primary school
• have a good ability to create structure, study peace, and safety in teaching
• work consciously with adaptations based on students' different needs

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience of teaching in several stages (grades 3–9)
• experience of working in adapted primary school
• habit of working systematically with follow-up and development of teaching

As a person, you are:

• confident, clear, and consistent in your leadership
• practical and solution-oriented
• relationship-building and professional
• a team player who wants to contribute to the school as a whole
