What we do and want

At Stimmets School, approximately 280 students attend, ranging from preschool class to year 6. Many of our students speak several languages and enrich the school with their cultural backgrounds. We bring the outside world into our teaching, but we also leave the school for the outside world, where outdoor pedagogy is a large part of our daily life at the leisure center. Our school is centrally located in Tyresö with easy access to public transport, yet nature is right at our doorstep.

About the position

We are now looking for you who want to make a difference in our students' school days. As a childcare assistant, you work during school hours in the classroom together with teachers and supervise students during recess. In the afternoons, you work in the leisure center activities.

In close collaboration with the responsible teacher and colleagues, you contribute to promoting the student's social and academic development. The work involves being attentive to the student's needs, strengthening the student's self-esteem, and encouraging participation and community within the group.

We are looking for you who want to create security and conditions for learning. You are a person with experience working in leisure center activities.

The position is a temporary assignment for the autumn term, starting on August 10th.

Who are you?

You have an attentive and respectful approach, are clear in your communication, and find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and guardians. You are flexible and solution-focused. You have good knowledge and experience regarding students with ADHD/Autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Above all, we are looking for a secure, present, and engaged employee who sees the value in building relationships and, together with colleagues, developing the leisure center activities.

You must be trained as a childcare assistant with experience from school operations.
