About the activity:
Bällstabergsskolan is a two-stream school for grades F–9 in southern Vallentuna, close to the Roslagsbanan railway. It is a safe and well-functioning school where both students and staff thrive. Students are given good conditions to develop both academically and socially. Our activity is characterized by dedicated and competent teachers, leisure center staff, and student health services working together to ensure every student reaches their full potential. The school has functional premises, and each section has its own cafeteria, creating a calm and pleasant environment.
You will join a dedicated leisure center team and work closely with another primary teacher in the leisure center. Together, you will lead the pedagogical development work and create an equal, creative, and safe activity for the students.
Here, you will also have the opportunity to further develop the leisure center's activities for older students, focusing on creating content that is inspiring, challenging, and meaningful for students in grades 4–6.

During the school day, you are an active and present pedagogue in class, smaller groups, and during breaks. After school hours, you lead the leisure center's activity together with the other primary teacher in the leisure center and other staff, where you jointly are responsible for structure, content, and quality in teaching. You build and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and actively participate in the school's systematic quality work. An important part of the assignment is to further develop the leisure center's activity for older students together with colleagues and create activities that are inspiring, challenging, and adapted to their interests and development.
