About the Position

We are now looking for a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health for grades 4–9. As a P.E. teacher at IES Kista, you will:

• Teach Physical Education and Health to students in grades 4–9 in accordance with the Swedish curriculum (Lgr22).
• Be knowledgeable and passionate about your subject and inspire students in every aspect of Physical Education and Health.
• Be a secure leader with a focus on safety and a calm study environment.
• Plan, conduct, and assess engaging lessons.
• Adapt and differentiate your teaching to challenge and support students at different levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the aesthetic subject group to create an inspiring learning environment.
• Contribute to the school's positive and international atmosphere.
• As a mentor for 16 students, support them in reaching their full potential, regardless of background.

Qualifications

• Teacher degree and certification in Physical Education and Health for grades 4–9.
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Teaching is in Swedish in the subject of Physical Education and Health, and experience in teaching beginner swimming is required.
• Experience teaching in an international or bilingual environment is an advantage.
• A structured, safety-conscious, and professional approach to teaching and teamwork.
