Preschool Flying Carpet is an independent organization with a strong multicultural representation and intercultural work. We have three preschools, two in Haninge (in Brandbergen and Jordbro) and one in Skogås, Huddinge. We are looking for a preschool teacher for one of our preschools in Haninge Municipality.

Job Description

Using tools such as observation, documentation, and reflection, we make children's learning processes visible and set the direction for the next steps in the pedagogical work. We also see pedagogical documentation as a natural part of our systematic quality work and operational development. It is meritorious if you have experience working with children with special needs and knowledge of low-affective handling.

In the role of preschool teacher, you are responsible for the teaching at the preschool and contribute to high pedagogical quality. You take active leadership in the activities, have good collaboration skills, and contribute to the preschool's development and quality work. We are looking for you who are engaged, flexible, and positive towards change, both individually and together with your work team.

• have a preschool teacher education and a preschool teacher license.
• have at least three to five years of experience as a preschool teacher.
• are engaged, professional, and proactive.
• have high motivation for development, innovation, and problem-solving.

• have high social skills and motivation to develop good collaboration with colleagues and management.
• can translate the preschool curriculum into daily work.
• are responsible and structured, with good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively.
• have knowledge of how to make visible and further develop children's learning processes with the help of pedagogical documentation.
• have a strong drive to keep the development of the pedagogical environment alive.
• are an empathetic leader and communicator.
• have experience working with children in need of special support.
• have great respect and curiosity for multiculturalism, languages, and religions.
• have the drive to create good collaboration between preschool and home.
• have good digital competence and are accustomed to using digital tools both in teaching and for administration, documentation, and collaboration.
• express yourself well in speech and writing, and can communicate the preschool's work internally and externally.
• are well-versed in leading conversations, activities, and planning.
• have the ability to take natural leadership in the activities, drive pedagogical processes forward, and contribute to the development of both the work team and the organization.
• have a holistic view of the activities and can take on coordinator tasks in the future.

We are looking for you who are interested in a working degree of approximately 80–95 percent. Start date is August 10th or by agreement.
