You are a skilled preschool teacher who, just like us, is present in the now and focuses on the future.

Here at Förskolan Vargen (The Wolf Preschool), we work in bases and work teams of at least six people. Our operations are based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which is built on the belief in human potential, respect for the child, and the conviction that all children are born rich and intelligent with an innate drive to explore the world.

We organize ourselves in project work, where the children's influence over the content, materials, and setup is the foundation. Pedagogical documentation is an important tool for us, allowing children to gain power over their own learning and be involved in the design of the operations. Together, we drive learning processes forward, and through pedagogical documentation, we make the child's learning visible.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, driving, developing, and evaluating the pedagogical work in the preschool based on the curriculum's intentions and the prioritized areas in the City of Sundbyberg. You work with pedagogical documentation and other tools to ensure quality in the preschool. As a preschool teacher, you are a pedagogical leader and should, together with your colleagues, drive and develop the work.

Your responsibilities include being the project manager for a group of children, and together with the other preschool teachers at the base, you have the ultimate responsibility for our learning environments, language development, and the organization at your base.

We want you to be curious and creative, willing to inspire and challenge the children in their learning, experienced in project work, and a trained preschool teacher with experience working with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

As a preschool teacher, you know that children can, and you understand the meaning of the concept "the competent child." The view of children and the environment's significance and learning that the Reggio Emilia-inspired approach is based on creates a common ground for us educators. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment until December with the possibility of extension. Start date according to agreement.
