The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school centers, primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have just over 3,200 employees at 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Position and Responsibilities
We are now looking for a teacher for our lower secondary school (grades 7-9). For the upcoming school year, the position includes teaching in grades 7 and 8. You will teach Technology and one Natural Science subject (the same subject in both grades). In addition, there is some double-teaching in Mathematics, primarily scheduled in grade 7 where the mentorship role is located. You will be part of the Grade 7 team and collaborate regularly with other Math/Natural Science teachers at scheduled meetings.
All staff at Tunaskolan are tasked with contributing to increased goal achievement, strengthened language skills, and increased self-esteem for Tunaskolan's students.
Who You Are
We are looking for you who want to be part of developing Tunaskolan's operations, who are well-acquainted with the teacher role, who knows what you want, and who is a "team player".
As a person, you are interested in staying updated and are at the forefront in your professional role. You are relationship-building and collaboration-oriented to meet the needs of the individual and the organization. You also need to be structured and stable in your teaching role to be able to conduct high-quality education.
Teacher certification (issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education) with eligibility to teach up to grade 9 in at least one Natural Science subject and Mathematics is a requirement.
Additionally, we consider it meritorious if you:
- base your development work on an analysis of previous results
- have good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently
- are also eligible to teach Technology
- enjoy working with children and young people from different cultures, language groups, religions, and ethnic backgrounds
- meet life with a lot of humor.
