Job Description

The Swedish National Genomics Infrastructure is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for a project aimed at leveraging state-of-the-art genomics to study the relationships between gene regulatory variants, chromatin organization, and transcription. The project will combine practical genomics, method development, and bioinformatics.

The project will be conducted at the interface between the National Genomics Infrastructure and the research groups led by Professor Tuuli Lappalainen and Associate Professor Robert Månsson. This brings together state-of-the-art genomics platforms, internationally leading functional genomics, molecular biology, and experimental hematology.

Requirements

• A completed PhD degree or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a PhD. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
• Scientific proficiency in genomics, molecular or cell biology, genetics, or a related field.
• Expertise in techniques within genomics or molecular cell biology.
• Ability to analyze genomic data.
• Collaborative spirit.
• Independence.
• Strong publication record.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

About the Position

The employment is permanent, but for a maximum of three years.
