About the Full-Time Mentor Role

As a full-time mentor, you will work closely and daily with a group of students. You are their primary adult contact at the school and play a crucial role in their well-being, development, and academic success. Your task is to support, motivate, and monitor the students' attendance, CSN reporting, academic results, and general well-being.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor for several classes and maintain close contact with your mentees.
• Monitor students' academic situation, attendance, and well-being.
• Hold regular development meetings with students and maintain contact with guardians.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, the student health team, and school management.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of activities that strengthen community and study motivation.
• Contribute to a positive school environment characterized by security and study peace.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education, preferably in study and career guidance or pedagogy. You have previous experience working at an upper secondary school; experience as a mentor is a merit.

You have a coaching and supportive attitude and are skilled at building trusting relationships with young people. You are a responsible and structured person with good communication skills. Working in a team is second nature to you, and you want to actively contribute to the school's development and joint efforts.

Job Information

The position is a temporary assignment (substitute) running until April 30, 2027.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
