Special Educator for Skolfam – Empowering Foster Children to Succeed
All children have the right to succeed in school and to have the opportunity to reach their full potential. For children placed in foster care, a functioning school attendance is one of the most important protective factors for mental health, future education, and establishment in adult life.
Lidingö Municipality is now taking an important step by introducing Skolfam as a project – a nationally established and research-based working model that strengthens the school results, health, and future life chances of children in foster care through close collaboration between social services, schools, student health services, and foster homes.
We are now looking for a special educator who wants to help build Skolfam in Lidingö. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to combine your professional competence with development work and contribute to long-term change for a group of children who often have great needs for support.
With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the child, influence operational development, and help create a model that can make a difference for many years to come.
