In 2021, we opened a brand-new primary school and preschool in Bro Mälarstrand, in Upplands-Bro Municipality. Through this unique project, we offer a school focused on studies, as well as a rich selection of sports and arts & culture for all ages. Our goal is to become the municipality's leading school and preschool. In August 2021, we launched the primary school operations with students from preschool class to year 3.

Responsibilities

Working as a teaching substitute involves supporting the school's operations whenever needs arise. This primarily involves short-term assignments that are ideal for those studying or with other commitments, but opportunities for longer-term employment may also open up for those interested.

We work according to a pedagogical concept we call "Training for Reality." Since it is important that our substitutes also adhere to our pedagogical concept, we will review this during any potential interview.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with children and young people. It is an advantage if you can teach in multiple subjects. You are pedagogical in your approach and feel confident in the role of a clear leader. We prefer that you are currently studying at a university or college, or have completed a degree. Perhaps you are a student teacher looking to gain valuable experience by working as a casual substitute?

As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and communicative. You easily build good relationships with both students and colleagues, contributing to a safe and positive learning environment. In the role of a substitute, you work independently while maintaining close collaboration and ongoing dialogue with the school's teachers and other staff.

For us, it is important that you have the ability to step in with short notice and are flexible regarding working hours.

Employment Type

Fixed-term part-time employment (intermittent employment). Individual salary setting (hourly wage).

Your Application

You apply by registering your profile and attaching a cover letter and CV in our recruitment system. We only accept applications via the web; applications submitted otherwise cannot unfortunately be processed.

The first step in our recruitment process is to complete two work psychological tests. Test links are sent via email immediately after submitting your application, and you will receive feedback on the test directly after completion.

By law (2000:873), you must present an extract from the criminal record register when working in schools. The application form can be downloaded from https://polisen.se/Service/Belastningsregistret-begar-utdrag/registerutdrag-arbeta-inom-skola-forskola/ (https://polisen.se/Service/Belastningsregistret-begar-utdrag/registerutdrag-arbeta-inom-skola-forskola/). Order it in good time, as it takes at least 14 days to receive the extract.
