We are now looking for you who want to work as a teacher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Technology at the lower secondary level (grades 4-6).

Skarpatorpsskolan is located in the district of Skarpnäck and has a total of approximately 560 students and 100 employees. The school is divided into two buildings: one for the lower primary level and adapted primary school, and one for the lower secondary and upper secondary levels. The school has three parallel classes at the lower primary level and two parallel classes at the lower and upper secondary levels.

Skarpatorpsskolan is located right next to the Skarpnäck metro station and has several bus lines from different parts of Stockholm. It is easy to get to the school.

What we offer

The teachers have a subject group meeting once a week where teaching and knowledge development are discussed. Topics covered include systematic quality work, equitable assessments, language-developing working methods, clarifying pedagogy, and digital competence. Joint assessments are conducted at teacher meetings at least once a month.

Your role

During the upcoming school year, you will teach Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Technology at the lower secondary level.

Together with your subject colleagues, you will conduct high-quality teaching, constantly test and develop methods, and work purposefully to develop students' learning and raise results.

Your skills and experience

You have a teaching license.

We are currently looking for a teacher who is qualified to teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology, and Mathematics in grades 4-6. Additional merit is given if you also have qualifications to teach Physical Education and Health or Music.

You have experience with assessment and high-quality teaching at the secondary level. You should have an exploratory approach in your teaching.

You master Swedish in speech and writing.

You are accustomed to working in various digital platforms such as Teams, DigiExam, etc.

Interviews will take place on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
