Vocational Teacher for the Vehicle Program at Fredrika Bremergymnasiet

With a strong interest in our education within the Vehicle and Transport program, we are now looking for a vocational teacher to support students in year 1 through a co-teaching model together with colleagues.

Fredrika Bremergymnasiet is centrally located in Haninge, approximately a 10-minute walk from the commuter train station, and close to buses and national road 73.

Our school is one of the largest in the county with just over 2,100 students distributed across 13 different programs. We offer a unique breadth of university-preparatory programs and vocational programs with many specializations. Many of our programs can also be combined with our eight sports academies, where elite athletes from the entire Stockholm area and the rest of the country train.

Job Description

You will work in close collaboration with a team of dedicated and supportive colleagues through a co-teaching model. This means you will act as an additional teacher in the classroom and in the workshop for our year 1 students. The assignment includes the following:

• Inspire and motivate students with your professional competence.
• Support getting students engaged in learning activities.
• Build relationships and collaborate with colleagues.
• Ensure that all students follow the school's safety rules in the workshop.
• Support formative assessment regarding students' knowledge development.

As a vocational teacher, you will inspire and motivate future mechanics and vehicle specialists. With your pedagogical skills and creativity, you will create an stimulating learning environment together with a colleague where every student gets the opportunity to grow and develop.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a vehicle mechanic or have education that the employer considers equivalent. You are a creative and development-focused person who is completely confident in yourself. You have a well-founded positive view of people and have a very good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and other school staff. If you have extensive experience working in the automotive industry, it is an advantage.

You learn quickly and want to learn what you do not yet know, as you are a person who can work independently and for the benefit of the operation. For you, it is important to deliver with quality and to be a person on the workplace that others can trust and turn to. Contributing to students succeeding in their studies and achieving their goals is something you take professional pride in. About the Position

The position is a holiday cover position and a fixed-term employment starting August 10, 2026, or as agreed, until January 11, 2027. The extent of the position is 50%.
