The Business Area Own Management is responsible for the city's own adult education centers (Komvux), Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), and university college, giving Stockholmers the opportunity to study and participate in society and working life. Together we meet the needs of both Stockholmers and working life!

We are currently in the midst of an expansion, and therefore we are looking for you with great commitment who wants to be part of our journey. The school's course offering includes SFI within study path 2 and 3, as well as courses in Swedish as a second language, mathematics, and English at the basic level, as well as upcoming combination education and commissioned training. We are now looking for a vocational teacher in Childcare and Leisure at Komvux Kista.

We will launch a new combination education in Childcare and Leisure with a focus on Support Assistant. The education is two years long, and we combine Swedish as a second language at the basic level with vocational subjects within the national program Personal in the field of disability. Your role

As a teacher at our adult education centers, you play an important role in building and developing a supportive learning environment for our students.

The core task of the position is to plan, implement, and follow up on your own teaching and to collaborate with colleagues and external actors to contribute to the development of the entire school. You are responsible for following and documenting the students' progression throughout the education and for setting grades at the end of the course.

The role of vocational teacher with us involves varied work with the opportunity to develop and test new ways of working.

You will work with vocational subjects in a combination education together with a language teacher. The work includes standard teacher tasks such as planning, implementation, follow-up, as well as assessment and grading.

You are also engaged and innovative and work systematically with the development of your teaching and see the big picture.
