Rudbeck is Sollentuna Municipality's upper secondary school. The school is located next to Edsviken and the beautiful Edsberg Park, two miles north of Stockholm. Responsibilities

As a teacher in Biology, Natural Science, and Chemistry at Rudbeck, you teach in an environment with well-equipped facilities and good opportunities for laboratory-based teaching. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching and work practically with laboratory exercises in both chemistry and biology.

You are part of the natural sciences department's subject group, a large and experienced collegium with approximately 38 colleagues. You sit in a shared office with colleagues in the same subject area, which creates good conditions for collaboration, collegial learning, and joint development of teaching. Mentoring is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident, engaged, and professional in your role as a teacher. You have a good ability to build relationships with students and colleagues and are self-reliant in your work.

You are structured, clear, and have a good understanding of how students absorb knowledge. You thrive in a subject group where people collaborate, share experiences, and develop teaching together.

You are confident in the classroom and can meet both high-achieving students and student groups with more varied prerequisites.

Requirements

• Teaching certification in Biology
• Teaching certification in Natural Science

Merits

• Teaching certification in Chemistry
• Experience teaching at the upper secondary level
