We are now looking for a vocational teacher with experience in language and vocational integrated didactics

We are now looking for an engaged vocational teacher, with current experience from care and nursing work, who wants to help develop our care and nursing combination education. The position involves working with language and vocational integrated didactics in close collaboration with language teachers, supervisors, and students.

Your role

You will teach within the framework of combination educations where language and vocational subjects are integrated. The focus is on creating teaching that is professionally relevant, inclusive, and adapted to the students' needs and prerequisites. You will work closely with the department's business developers and participate in regular supervision to ensure that the education maintains high quality and is relevant for students and the profession. The assignment presupposes that you are ready to change and develop your teaching practice based on current research on language and vocational integrated didactics.

Your competence and experience

• You have a teacher's degree in vocational subjects within care and nursing.
• Experience and interest in didactic development work.
• Ability to translate a workplace-oriented perspective into teaching.
• Open attitude towards change work and learning.
• Good collaboration skills and an unpretentious attitude in meetings with colleagues and students.
• Ability to plan and conduct teaching based on integrated learning goals.

Meritorious:

• Experience of working with the National Centre for Swedish as a Second Language's (NC) language and vocational integrated didactics.
• Experience of collaboration with working life within the framework of education.
• Competence in digital tools and learning platforms.
• Experience of working with adult students with varying language backgrounds.
