Lärarförmedlarna is Sweden’s largest provider of substitute teachers for schools. We have agreements with numerous schools and preschools, offering a wide range of exciting assignments! We are currently looking for you who want to work in preschools, as a class teacher for lower or middle school, or as a subject teacher for upper secondary school, high school, or adult education (Komvux). Together, we’ll find the subjects and grade levels that suit you best.

How Lärarförmedlarna works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can teach from preschool to adult education, part-time or full-time, frequently or occasionally. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a full semester (Want shorter assignments or single-day shifts? We recommend our sister company Pamoja). You are always matched to the assignment that fits you best and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It’s secure and reliable for both you and the school.

What the job entails

As a substitute teacher, your responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, as well as communicating with colleagues and parents/guardians.

You manage your work easily through our user-friendly app. You also have a dedicated contact person in our support team who assists you – before, during, and after each assignment. You work securely under a collective agreement and receive a thorough introduction before starting.

What do you need?

Our client schools love our staff! That’s why we are meticulous in our recruitment:

→ You are a qualified teacher or have other relevant education.
→ You have experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.
→ You are a skilled educator who understands that the job is about enthusiasm and inspiration.
→ You speak and write Swedish (or English in some cases) fluently, and hold a valid extract from the Criminal Record Register.
→ You want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Simply put: smart, kind, and professional :)

How to apply
