The Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an HR Strategist with a focus on analysis, planning, and follow-up to join the HR Center within the Municipal Executive Office in Botkyrka Municipality.
As an HR Strategist, you will work to develop and strengthen the municipality's data-driven work within competence supply, follow-up, operational management, as well as the analysis of gender equality and equal opportunities. The role involves a strategic and operationally close assignment where you analyze HR data and translate statistics, trends, and key figures into decision support and recommendations for management and operations. You will work long-term to develop methods for planning and follow-up and contribute to sustainable structures for competence supply and employer policy.
You will work closely with HR, finance, IT, and various operations to connect HR issues with operational goals and financial planning. The role also includes responsibility for developing models, processes, and tools for follow-up and analysis, as well as ensuring quality in HR data and reporting.
Your main responsibilities include:
- producing, analyzing, and following up on HR key figures, statistics, and analyses related to gender equality and equal opportunities
- developing strategic competence and workforce planning
- identifying trends, risks, and future competence needs
- producing forecasts, analyses, and decision support for management and operations
- developing methods, dashboards, and tools for data-driven management and follow-up
- coordinating and quality-assuring HR-related follow-up and reporting
- managing and developing analysis tools and decision support systems, such as Qlik.
In this role, you present analyses and conclusions in a clear and pedagogical manner to different target groups within the organization. You also contribute with analyses and follow-up that strengthen the municipality's work for gender equality, equal opportunities, and a sustainable working life.

Who You Are
We are looking for you who have an academic education in HR, economics, statistics, or another academic degree that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with HR key figures, analysis, and follow-up, as well as experience in producing decision support and presenting analyses to different target groups.
Other requirements for the position:
- Experience in independently analyzing HR data and translating analyses into decision support, recommendations, and operationally relevant actions.
- Experience in strategic analysis, follow-up, and key figure work in a larger organization.
- Experience in identifying trends, risks, and development needs related to competence supply and personnel data.
- Experience working in analysis and decision support systems, such as Qlik or similar tools.
- Experience in presenting analyses and statistics to managers or management groups.

As an HR Strategist, you are analytical and structured in your approach. You see connections between data, operations, and economics, and translate analyses into concrete conclusions and recommendations that create value for the operations. Through a methodical and quality-conscious approach, you contribute to long-term development and sustainable methods within the HR field.
You are collaborative and communicative. You work closely with various functions and create trusting collaborations while presenting complex information in a clear and accessible manner to different target groups. Through a pedagogical and solution-oriented approach, you contribute to strengthening the organization's ability to work data-driven and strategically with competence supply, gender equality, equal opportunities, and operational development.
