About the Position

Responsibilities

Furuta School is a preschool-to-grade 6 school with just over 300 students. The school is located in Teleborg, with Södra Bergundasjön as its nearest neighbor. Here, students and staff meet in a safe and welcoming environment where every individual has the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites and gain confidence in their own abilities. Since autumn 2025, we are located in new, modern facilities. During breaks, we offer organized activities and present staff to create safety and community.

At our school, we teach language development in all subjects and use structured methods to make learning clear for our students. We base our work on, among other things, the circle model and station work. We focus on early reading acquisition and have close collaboration with our school library, which is staffed every day.

As a teacher in our preschool class, you will have close collaboration with your colleagues in the preschool class and the after-school center. Together, you will work to create good conditions for the students and strive for them to develop as much as possible. You will be part of the preschool class team.

This is a vacation position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility for teaching in grades F-3.

You are engaged, flexible, and receptive, and see collaboration with both the school and the after-school center as a natural part of your assignment. You individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs and work with accessible learning environments. You have the ability to see possibilities in the pedagogical work and, together with colleagues, develop the teaching. You have a conscious awareness of your role as a pedagogue and are secure in your leadership. You work systematically based on current governing documents and have a professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues.

Start Date: 2026-08-03 or as agreed.
