The newly built Hjortsberg School for grades 7-9 is centrally located in Ljungby, with green areas nearby and close proximity to the F-6 school and leisure center. Our operations also have access to a sports hall. The school has its own kitchen, dining hall, and five homeroom classrooms. The school was designed to accommodate five parallel classes with up to 375 students, but will start with four parallel classes from the autumn of 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who want to teach Home Economics and Consumer Knowledge in grades 6-9 at Hjortsberg School. As a teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching. You are part of a work team and collaborate with other teachers in the joint work regarding the students.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply should be a trained teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Knowledge for grades 6-9 and hold a teaching license. Great importance is placed on teamwork skills and the ability to interact and live in groups as well as individually.
The Child and Education Committee wishes to utilize the qualities that a balanced gender distribution, ethnic, and cultural diversity bring to the operations.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: The position is a fixed-term employment at 30% from 2026-08-11 to 2027-06-12. The position may potentially convert to a permanent position if necessary decisions are made.
