RESPONSIBILITIES

Furutå School is a grades F-6 school with just over 300 students. The school is located in Teleborg, with Södra Bergundasjön as its nearest neighbor. Here, students and staff meet in a safe and welcoming environment where every individual is given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites and gain confidence in their own abilities. Since autumn 2025, we are located in new, modern facilities. During breaks, we offer organized activities and present staff to create safety and community.

At our school, we teach language-developing instruction in all subjects and use structured methods to make learning clear for our students. We base our work on, among other things, the circle model and station work. We work with early reading acquisition and have close collaboration with our school library, which is staffed every day.

The school's school age educare (fritidshem) is currently divided into four departments, and we work with mixed-age groups F-1, 2-3, and 4-6. In this role, you will collaborate with both the teachers in the school age educare and the teachers in grades F-2. You will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction based on the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22). You always keep the student's learning in focus, providing a pedagogical, social, and physically accessible learning environment where you have the ability to create activities based on the student's needs and interests.

For us at Furutå, it is important to build trusting relationships and maintain the high level of well-being and safety that exists at the school. With us, you as a teacher in school age educare are an important part of the students' entire school day. During school hours, you are part of the work team in the lower primary school. The position involves a flexible assignment where, in addition to your regular role, you may also cover for and substitute for colleagues as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a teacher certification with eligibility for school age educare (fritidshem). You have good knowledge of the school and the governing documents for school age educare.

You are a clear leader with good foresight and structure, and you have good communication skills with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are driven to develop the operations to achieve high quality for the students. You adapt to changed circumstances and see solutions in problems that may arise.

We would appreciate it if you have experience of similar tasks.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date 2026-08-03 or by agreement, end date: 2026-12-31.
