RESPONSIBILITIES

Preschool Saga is located in the south of Växjö, close to both forest and urban environments. The preschool is organized into four departments where children are grouped by similar ages. We are a preschool inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. For us, this means working with a project-based approach where children's hypotheses and problem-solving form the basis for the educators' design of the teaching. Here, the pedagogical environment is designed to inspire interaction, creativity, and exploration.

The preschool should be a place where joy and learning go hand in hand, where every child feels seen and acknowledged, where teaching is adapted to each individual child, and where children are active co-researchers in their own learning process. Children are big little humans.

As a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will have access to an experienced supervisor during your mentorship year.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a qualified preschool teacher, or nearing the end of your education, and are eager for an exciting, creative, and innovative assignment. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and have a positive outlook, ready to meet the child with respect for the knowledge the child possesses. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.

• Are curious to be part of a process where we together create a preschool with high pedagogical quality that values our democratic values
• Have great commitment and good collaboration skills, creating good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians

• Have good leadership qualities

Experience with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach is considered an advantage.
