The school offers five national programs with various specializations: Economics, Natural Science, Social Science, Technology, and Health and Care Program. There is both a local sports high school and a national sports high school for the sports of sailing and triathlon. The school also has three national programs and one individual program within the adapted upper secondary school.

About the Position

For the upcoming school year, we are looking for a teacher to teach business economics, primarily within the Economics program and potentially also in law or other relevant subjects.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will actively participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching, with a focus on adapting it to students' individual needs and prerequisites.

The role may also include mentorship, where you, together with a colleague, support and motivate students in their studies and personal development. You will also supervise upper secondary theses. As part of the economics subject team, you are expected to contribute to the development of the Economics program and participate in quality work and school development together with your colleagues.

You are responsible for following up, assessing, and documenting students' knowledge development, as well as creating good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Together with your colleagues, you will drive projects and collaborate to promote students' learning and development.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• Qualified teacher in business economics, preferably also in law or another relevant subject.
• Experience in "Young Enterprise" (Ung Företagsamhet), entrepreneurship, accounting, and law is meritorious.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to be able to communicate and document.

Personal Competencies:

• We value flexibility, creativity, and a good ability to build and maintain relationships.
• You have pedagogical insight, are clear and inspiring, and can engage students and collaborate well with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Furthermore, we see that you are self-motivated, can plan and prioritize your work effectively.

Employment Terms

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
• Start Date: 2026-08-10.
• End Date: 2027-06-30.
• Working Hours: Primarily daytime.
