Description

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrative Secretary / Medical Secretary to join our operations.

Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy at Skaraborg Hospital is a hospital-wide function providing specialized occupational therapy and physiotherapy to the hospital's various departments. Within this function, there are four positions for healthcare administrative secretaries supporting approximately 90 employees spread across two hospital locations. Our operations are constantly evolving, facing new challenges daily with opportunities to influence our current and future work. To manage this, our employees are given excellent opportunities for internal and external development and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Administrative Secretary with us, you will be offered variety in your daily work over time. You report directly to the unit managers for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and collaborate closely with all employees in the function.

The main responsibilities include supporting the operations with administrative tasks, such as patient administration in ELVIS, 1177, and Melior. The majority of patient-facing administration has been transferred from therapists to healthcare administrative secretaries, and we continuously work on developing these tasks. We strive to be at the forefront regarding digital working methods, and the healthcare administrative secretaries play a crucial support role in this. Furthermore, the healthcare administrative secretaries are an integral part of ongoing development projects within the operations.

Supervision of students may occur.
