Responsibilities

Do you want to help develop tomorrow's adapted primary school? Do you want to work in a two-teacher system? Then this is an assignment for you!

The assignment involves creating good conditions for all students to succeed in their learning and development. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for fostering curiosity in a positive and creative learning environment. The work includes planning, documenting, following up, and evaluating operations based on our governing documents, both at the individual and group levels, all tailored to the students' prerequisites.

You work to remove obstacles and difficulties in the learning process and to develop alternative learning environments and tools. The goal is to make students feel safe, trusted, and joyful at school.

Qualifications

We primarily seek you who are a certified primary school teacher or preschool teacher with further education as a special needs teacher specializing in intellectual disabilities (ID). Experience working with students with ID is a merit.

You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and actively work with leadership and stimulation, as well as extra adaptations and special support. Furthermore, you develop your work based on evidence-based research.

In the second hand, we seek you who have a license to teach in primary school and who are studying or wish to study further to become a special needs teacher specializing in intellectual disabilities.

What we expect of you:

• You have a good ability to translate the organization's mission regarding students in need of special support.
• You can adapt working methods and approaches based on conditions at both the group and individual levels.
• You are accustomed to working with a low-affective approach using clear pedagogical tools.
• You have good knowledge of and ability to work according to current governing documents, as well as good knowledge of alternative learning tools. This means you can document and handle digital technology as well as other compensatory alternative tools in your teaching.
• It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of and use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) in your teaching.

You are an important adult for our students and see the potential in all students. This means you have energy, enthusiasm, and commitment, and are a calm and secure person.

Our colleagues work closely and together, where everyone is expected to contribute beyond the ordinary. You must have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and guardians, possess good social competence, and be able to take independent initiatives.

Employment Terms

Employment Type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-06 or by agreement.
