Teacher in English, Grades 7–9, Kunskapsskolan Landskrona

Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, operates 29 primary schools and seven upper secondary schools with a total of 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. The organization was founded in 2000 and is owned by Peje Emilsson and his family.

We are now looking for you who are a certified teacher in English for grades 7–9 and want to make a difference in students' language development!

About the role

As an English teacher at Kunskapsskolan Landskrona, you teach students in grades 7–9 with varying linguistic backgrounds. You work both subject-specifically and with language support, focusing on strengthening students' language and knowledge development in Swedish/English and within the school's other subjects. The teaching is based on LGR22 and is characterized by clarity, structure, and linguistic awareness.

In your role, you are an important part of the school's language-developing work and collaborate closely with colleagues, student welfare, and school management to create good conditions for multilingual students to succeed in school.

Kunskapsskolan Landskrona is a primary school for grades 4–9 with approximately 300 students. We offer a personally tailored education, where each student has an individual study plan, continuous coaching, and a close relationship with their teachers. • is a certified teacher in English for grades 7-9.
• has good knowledge of second language acquisition, language-developing approaches, and formative assessment.
• creates secure learning environments and clear structures for students with different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
• is relationship-building, solution-focused, and sees each student's potential in a coherent knowledge context.
• enjoys collaborating with other teachers to support students' language skills in all subjects.

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience teaching in multicultural environments.
• Competence in working with newly arrived students and students in language introduction programs.
• Experience collaborating with mother tongue teachers and study guides.
• Strong leadership skills in teaching.
