You will step into an important assignment within a social services operation where employees meet people with harmful substance use and addiction, severe mental illness, and other complex social problems every day. In these environments, situations can quickly become high-pressure, which places high demands on interaction, conflict management, and the ability to act safely and securely.

The assignment is about strengthening competence and creating a common approach to low-arousal interaction and soft self-defense. You plan and conduct a three-part training initiative for all employees in the unit, with a structure that allows for dialogue, reflection, and practical training in small groups. This is a role for you who want to combine methodological knowledge with concrete operational benefits and contribute to a safer everyday life for both staff and service users.

• You plan, conduct, and follow up on a training initiative consisting of three training sessions for all employees in the unit.
• You train in low-arousal interaction with a focus on theory, approach, and practical application in the daily work of the operation.
• You incorporate knowledge about interacting with people with harmful substance use and addiction, severe mental illness, and other complex social problems.
• You lead sessions on conflict management and show strategies to prevent, identify, and handle escalated situations.
• You conduct practical training in soft self-defense with a focus on protecting yourself and others without causing unnecessary harm.
• You conduct scenario exercises adapted to the risk and work situations that the staff encounters.
• You produce training materials that participants can use as support in their continued work.
• You adapt content and exercises based on the operation's target group and daily life.

• You have at least 3 years of experience performing similar assignments in both public and private operations.
• You have documented education and competence in low-arousal interaction.
• You have documented education and competence in soft self-defense.
• You have at least three (3) years of documented experience training staff in low-arousal interaction and soft self-defense.
• You have documented experience conducting training with practical sessions on conflict management and self-defense.
• You have documented experience training staff in social services, healthcare, care, or other comparable operations.
• You have good knowledge of the target group: people with harmful substance use and addiction, severe mental illness, and other complex social problems.
• You can adapt the training content and exercises to the operation and target group the assignment concerns.
• You can conduct the training in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

• You have experience with training in municipal social services with 24/7 operations.
• You have experience supporting operations in implementing low-arousal interaction in daily work.
• You can provide training materials and methodological support that can be used in the operation after the training is completed.
