Herrestorpskolan is located in a quiet and pleasant area on the eastern outskirts of Vellinge. The school has approximately 480 students in grades F-9. Bus connections to and from Malmö run 3–4 times per hour.

In recent years, the school has undergone renovation in several phases. As a result, we have an accessible and modern learning environment adapted to the needs of today and the future. Here, there are opportunities to use the premises flexibly to meet each student's individual needs.

All grade levels are housed in the same building, but the different stages have different departments. The library and school cafeteria are located in the center of the school, serving as natural meeting places. The school also has a large and well-equipped sports hall that was inaugurated in September 2019.

Job Description

This autumn, Herrestorpskolan is looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades F-3.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where every student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you conduct work that puts the student's learning at the center.

You are an engaged teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You have positive expectations of students and have the ability to communicate these in a motivating spirit. You base your work on the students' perspective when you, together with other staff and management, organize, drive, and develop the school.

You collaborate easily and have good communication skills – your students know what they can do, where they are going, and how to get there.

As a teacher at Herrestorpskolan, you will be part of a teaching team where, together with another primary school teacher and three leisure center teachers, you are responsible for Grade 2.

Qualifications

• Certified primary school teacher for grades F-3
