This role focuses on teaching at the school with a language-developing and digital perspective. In close consultation with colleagues, you will have excellent conditions to plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching. Your development efforts will inspire your colleagues and contribute to higher goal achievement.
The position also includes mentoring. As a mentor, you closely follow students' knowledge development and personal growth, playing a key role in communication with guardians, including through development conferences.
Qualifications
You are a certified teacher with qualifications for teaching grades 1–7, with broad qualifications for the younger years. We prefer qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and English. Previous teaching experience is considered an asset. You have good knowledge of early reading and writing acquisition. You also have experience being a mentor in lower grades.
You have a good understanding of and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and a good learning atmosphere for our students throughout their school day. Knowledge of digital systems such as Unikum, Skola 24, and Teams is advantageous. You have knowledge of and experience working with students within the NPF (Neurodevelopmental Conditions) spectrum and adapt your approach based on the needs of the group.
Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good familiarity and practice, work efficiently with relevant digital tools. You feel confident planning and structuring work for both the short and long term, with flexibility based on student needs, in relation to our governing documents and your analysis of student results. You lead yourself, take initiative, and contribute to the operations based on your competencies. As a person, you build good relationships, are low-affective in your interactions, and approach students, guardians, and situations with calmness. You have a good eye for what this specific student or group needs and vary and adapt the learning situation accordingly to ensure students develop based on their prerequisites. You always prioritize the student's best interests and work to adapt teaching for students with special needs throughout the day. School-daycare collaboration is our shared responsibility and occurs throughout the day for the benefit of our students. At our school, our students should feel that we truly care.
We look forward to receiving your application!
