To T4 School, an adapted primary school in Hässleholm Municipality, we are now looking for dedicated student assistants who want to make a real difference in our students' daily lives.

As a student assistant, you are an important part of the students' entire school day. You work closely with the students during lessons, breaks, and after-school care, contributing to creating a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment. Together with teachers and other professionals, you support the students based on their individual needs so that they get the best possible conditions to develop, learn, and become as independent as possible.

The work involves providing support in communication, learning, social interaction, and everyday situations. For many of our students, extensive care measures are also included, such as personal hygiene, help with toilet visits, feeding, transfers, and medication management according to current routines.

The position is physically active and varied. You therefore need to be prepared to participate in the students' activities and be able to run, lift, cycle, and swim when the situation requires it. The work may involve needing to act quickly to create safety and security for the students.

The positions are fixed-term with assignments during the autumn term 2026 or during the school year 2026/2027.

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for you who are trained as a student assistant or have other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience working in an adapted primary school or with children and young people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or other functional variations is meritorious.

As a person, you are secure, calm, and have a low-affective and professional approach. You have good cooperation skills and thrive in working in teams where different professional competencies together take responsibility for the students' development. You are flexible, responsible, and have the ability to adapt your work method based on the students' different needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Since the work is physically demanding, you need to have good fitness and mobility. You need to be able to:

• lift and help students with transfers
• run when necessary
• cycling together with students
• swim and participate in water activities
• handle care tasks such as feeding, personal care, and help with toilet visits
• participate in medication management according to the facility's routines

About us

The Child and Education Department is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The department's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

T4 School is a municipal adapted primary school with grades F-9 as well as after-school care. Approximately 85 students attend the school. We all work with the starting point of, for example; approach, consideration, and respect for each other and for the school's environment, students should feel a sense of belonging, feel good, and achieve optimal learning. We work in mixed age groups. The school is located in central Hässleholm with good train and bus connections.
