Musikgrundskolan Synkopen and Slottsvångsskolan in Helsingborg are looking for an engaged and competent craft teacher (slöjd) specializing in wood and metal. We are two schools that are gradually merging to build a shared organization with a common cultural profile where music, song, dance, and drama are natural parts of daily life and learning. Students are given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in various ways to achieve learning goals.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a big heart for pedagogy and a genuine interest in wood and metal. You have the ability to create structure and security in an environment that can sometimes be lively and full of activity.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in craft (slöjd) with a focus on wood and metal, or alternatively have another education or documented experience that we assess as equivalent. To succeed in the role, you have good knowledge of safety regulations in a craft workshop and possess a good ability to adapt your teaching to meet the different needs of all students. In this position, you will teach grades 4–9 and simultaneously be an important part of the school's work team for grades 7–9. You have a strong commitment and want to develop the craft subject, and you want to do this in collaboration with other subject teachers.
