We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher

As a teacher at Realgymnasiet, you create the conditions for learning and guide students based on a given educational concept and the program's educational goals. You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching. Furthermore, you continuously work on assessing goal fulfillment and communicating this to the student. You participate in subject team work, work team work, and are expected to collaborate with colleagues. In close collaboration with your teaching, there are full-time mentors and student health services at the school.

Together with three other mathematics teacher colleagues, you collaborate in the mathematics subject team and are involved in the school's development of the subject. You also work cross-subjectively together with teachers in other subjects and/or other professions. Together, you create an attractive school that gives students very good conditions for active learning.

You will teach mathematics at one or more of the school's vocational programs, preferably level 1 and 2, as well as continuation 1c. Teaching at the compulsory school level for a few students may occur.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, we require that you have:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach mathematics at the upper secondary level.
• Previous experience in the role of a teacher in upper secondary school or later years of compulsory school.

We view teaching in a potential second subject positively, so you are welcome to specify any additional qualifications in your application.
