In Trelleborg, we work together to build a growing, successful municipality where it is good to live. Our 61 villages and 21 urban districts are creative meeting places bubbling with life. Here, we want things, talk about them, and come as we are. This allows us to welcome others in the same generous and curious way.
Welcome to join the journey!
The Education Department is responsible for preschool, primary school, special needs primary school, upper secondary school, and special needs upper secondary school. The responsibility also covers student health services, mother-tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We work to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.
Since everything Trelleborg Municipality does is based on our core values of openness, respect, and responsibility, it is important and crucial that these values are just as obvious to you as they are to us in our work.
The Workplace
In the Principal Area of Skegrie, we are close to each other. We work together in common networks, activities, and educational initiatives between and within our different operations. Here, we have the opportunity to practically follow children from preschool to lower secondary school from a 1-16 year perspective.
In the Principal Area of Skegrie, we work to ensure that every child and student develops into an active and engaged individual with the tools to meet the world. With skilled educators and purposeful work, every child and student will have the opportunity to develop lifelong learning filled with joy and enthusiasm. The school works with inclusive learning environments and ensures that all students are met based on their own prerequisites and a focus on knowledge.
Skegrie School is a preschool to grade 9 school with an associated after-school center. We actively work to be a school of our time, and our students learn in many different ways, both digitally and with pen and paper. The school actively works on social interaction and has organized recess activities every school day. We believe in good contact between school and home and regularly inform guardians about teaching and activities at the school. Approximately 500 students aged 6-15 attend the school, of whom more than 200 have a place at the after-school center.

Your work involves inspiring and motivating students towards the goal that all should reach the knowledge requirements, develop as individuals, and feel that the school provides a sense of coherence. To succeed in this role, it is required that you build trusting relationships both inside and outside the school. The position is a fixed-term employment during the period 2026-08-10 to 2026-10-02.

You have clear leadership with good didactic ability and structured teaching. You have the ability to create a meaningful and stimulating operation and adapt teaching and the learning environment based on the individual needs of different students.
