About the School

Hököpinge School started its operations in August 2019. At that time, the first students, the cohort of children born in 2013, began their studies. The school has since filled up from the bottom and grown by one cohort each year. This academic year, the school consists of students from Pre-school Class (F-klass) to Year 6. By the 2028/2029 academic year, the school is planned to be fully expanded as a Year 1-9 school with space for 550 students.

Our school was completed in August 2023, when we moved into completely new, untouched premises.

Responsibilities

Do you want to help create the best school for our students? We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building lower secondary school teacher who wants to develop our pedagogical operations and continue to develop our lower secondary stage.

You will teach Swedish and Social Studies (SO) at the lower secondary level and serve as a mentor for a class. In the mentor role, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for creating a sense of security, monitoring students' knowledge development, and maintaining close dialogue with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified comprehensive school teacher with the eligibility to teach Swedish and Social Studies at the lower secondary level.

We are looking for you who are full of ideas, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating. You are an engaged and responsible educator who works with clarity, security, and a relational approach where the student is always at the center. You meet every student with respect and see the individual's needs, strengths, and prerequisites.

You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and implement them in your teaching in a professional manner. Through follow-up, analysis, and a research-based working method, you continuously develop your teaching with a focus on students' knowledge development and goal fulfillment.
