Folkuniversitetet is looking for a teacher of Swedish for business assignments, based in Lund. In this role, you will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching for adult participants at companies and through digital teaching. About the Role

As a teacher of Swedish for business assignments, you teach adults who need to develop their Swedish for their work. This may involve strengthening oral communication, vocabulary, professional language, and linguistic confidence in various work-related situations.

You plan the teaching based on the customer's needs, the participants' level, and the context in which they operate. In some assignments, you work independently, while in others, you collaborate with colleagues and contact persons at the customer's site.

Teaching takes place both on-site in Lund, sometimes at other locations as needed, and digitally.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• planning, conducting, and following up on Swedish teaching for adults in working life
• adapting content and methods based on participants' language level, professional role, and customer goals
• teaching both on-site and digitally
• creating and adapting pedagogical material for work-related situations
• monitoring participants' development and documenting progress
• providing feedback to the client when necessary
• collaborating with colleagues regarding quality, method development, and assignment planning

We are looking for someone who

We believe you are a confident and engaged teacher who enjoys creating structure, building trust, and making teaching relevant for adult participants. You are attentive, professional, and adaptable when conditions change.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• at least 5 years of experience teaching Swedish, preferably within adult education
• relevant academic education in Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, pedagogy, or equivalent
• experience teaching adult participants in various contexts
• good digital skills and experience with remote teaching
• ability to work independently while collaborating well with colleagues and customers
• excellent command of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Experience with business assignments or other project-based education is meritorious.
