We are looking for an experienced and meticulous special needs educator for a targeted assignment at 20% at Väskolan!

Your role with us

The assignment focuses primarily on conducting pedagogical assessments, drawing up and following up on Action Plans (ÅP), and ensuring correct and legally secure documentation in accordance with current guidelines and legal requirements. Some supervision and pedagogical support for teachers may also be included.

About the assignment

• Conduct in-depth pedagogical mappings/assessments.
• Draw up, quality-assure, and follow up on Action Plans in close collaboration with guardians, the student, and relevant staff.
• Document according to current regulations (e.g., Education Act, Swedish National Agency for Education/municipality guidelines, and internal routines) with a focus on legal security, confidentiality, and traceability.
• Contribute with analysis and recommendations that support extra adaptations and special support.
• Provide supervision and shorter targeted interventions to teachers and work teams as needed.

Who are we looking for?

You must have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in grades 4-6 or alternatively 7-9 in 2-3 theoretical subjects in primary school. The role also requires a special needs education degree and at least 3 years of well-recognized work experience as a teacher. You should have a well-recognized ability to supervise.

• Documented experience of pedagogical assessments, the Action Plan process, and systematic quality work.
• Very good ability to document in a structured and legally secure manner.
• Good knowledge of relevant guidelines, confidentiality, and data protection regulations.
• Ability to analyze student needs and translate analysis into concrete, follow-up actions.
• Good teamwork skills and communicative competence in meetings with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.

Start date

The position is a temporary assignment at 20% starting 2026-08-18 until 2026-12-18.
