Do you want to work with children and young people who wish to develop their visual art skills? We are now looking for an art teacher for the Culture School in Eslöv for a fixed-term position where you will combine teaching with creative collaborations and exhibitions.

The Culture School gives students the opportunity to develop their creativity and expressive abilities, as well as take an active part in a creative cultural life in the Municipality of Eslöv. Here, education is offered in music, dance, theatre and drama, art, circus, and film.

Your role

As an art teacher, you work in the voluntary activities of the Culture School and teach students from beginner to more advanced levels. You plan and conduct teaching, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the development of the activities.

The role includes

• teaching students between the ages of 7 and 19 in art
• acting as a contact person for students and guardians
• participating in and contributing to the Culture School's joint events
• working to strengthen collaboration between students and the surrounding society
• planning and conducting exhibitions in public spaces
• collaborating in projects with other art forms such as film and orchestra
• handling administrative tasks related to teaching

Your experience

We are looking for you who have experience in pedagogical work with children and young people within art or visual arts.

We see that you have

• education in art pedagogy
• documented experience of pedagogical work in schools, art institutions, or similar
• knowledge in visual arts, art history, or equivalent
• experience working with digital image programs and apps

You enjoy working with children and young people and encourage them to dare to try, develop, and find their own expression. You are confident in leading groups and can adapt your teaching to different levels.

You also enjoy thinking outside the box and finding ways to develop the activities, especially in collaboration with other subjects or actors.

Salary between 34,000 to 39,000 depending on experience and responsibility. The final salary is determined individually and is based on a comprehensive assessment of your educational background, previous experience, and the area in which you have previously worked.
