Lingenäs School is a grades F-6 school that includes both primary school, adapted school, and after-school activities. It is located in the beautiful Lingenäs area with nature as its closest neighbor. The core of our pedagogical holistic philosophy: "Here I am allowed to be who I am and become who I want to be" should permeate all activities at the school.

Through the school's emphasis on good treatment and an inclusive perspective, as well as teaching based on a formative approach and a language-developing working method, we believe we create a safe school where students develop towards their goals. The school has many students who speak a mother tongue other than Swedish. The school has approximately 470 students in primary school and approximately 70 students in adapted school.

Your role with us

As a teacher with us, you will teach in grade 5. Here you stimulate students to learning and taking personal responsibility. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both in and outside the classroom.

The teaching is designed based on the goals of the curriculum, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important pillars. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching to the level of all students, with a focus on the student's best interests.

Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep up to date with events in the outside world and young people's daily lives. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. You systematically reflect on the practical work and, together with colleagues, drive development work in the work group/school. You also have a joint responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.

If you are new as a teacher, you are supported by a mentor for the best guidance in the work. If you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a certified teacher.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you with a teaching certificate and eligibility to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects math/natural sciences, as well as one of the subjects Swedish or English in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for you who have subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is meritorious if you have pedagogical education at the university level. We would like you to have experience in conducting teaching and working as a teacher within primary school, as well as experience working with children/young people aged 10-12.

You have the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's prerequisites, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, calmness, and a desire to learn. We would like you to have a good ability to teach children in need of special support and the ability to support students in handling conflicts that arise. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the outside world.

A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships both in and outside of school. Furthermore, you are a secure pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's working methods for continuous development.

Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure the work based on stated goals.

As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and well-acquainted with the ethical principles for teachers, and you have a talent for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge.

To allow us to assess your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teaching certificate. If there are no eligible certified teachers, you as an unqualified person can be employed for a limited time according to the Education Act. When we want to offer you the position, it is required that you show an extract from the police record to allow us to employ you, according to regulations in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.

Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.

Start Date

We offer a temporary position with a start date of 2026-08-18 or according to agreement, and duration until 2026-12-18. We will call for interviews on a rolling basis.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months.
