Hörby Municipality, with approximately 15,700 residents, is located in the heart of Scania. About the Workplace
Frostaskolan is centrally located in Hörby, near the museum, public library, and Music School. The surrounding area also includes Hörby Sport Center, Lågehallarna – where students have their physical education classes – and the Lågedammarnes Nature Reserve.
Frostaskolan consists of units for grades F-6 and after-school care, as well as grades 7-9. In total, there are approximately 500 students at the school. In 2029, the lower secondary school will move to a newly built school to be constructed on the Frostaskolan campus.
The operations at Frostaskolan are characterized by inclusion, security, knowledge, and optimism for the future. We have high expectations for our students, and we want them to feel confident in their own abilities and experience the joy and satisfaction that come from succeeding and overcoming difficulties. Municipality-wide focus areas include language development, mathematics, and attendance.
Job Profile: Certified Teacher of Spanish

Responsibilities
We are looking for a certified teacher of Spanish for grades 6-9, 50%. There is an opportunity for 100% employment, with the remaining 50% consisting of teaching in another subject or acting as a resource teacher in the classroom, depending on additional qualifications. In this role, you will work pedagogically and socially based on the operations' and current regulatory documents' goals and guidelines. You are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching, implementation, assessment, and work to promote students' health, learning, and development. You collaborate with other language teachers, other staff members, students, and guardians.
Qualifications
- Certified teacher for lower secondary school, grades 6-9, with authorization to teach Spanish.
- You have a clear goal focus, based on regulatory documents, and use assessment and follow-up as tools to develop your teaching and thereby strengthen each student's learning.
- You have a good ability to adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites.
- You have good collaboration skills, build trusting relationships with students and guardians, and are receptive.
- You have clear and secure leadership in your teaching and are a positive role model.
- You are engaged and have the students' best interests, regarding learning and health, in focus.
