About the workplace

Rydebäcksskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located approximately one mile south of Helsingborg. The school currently has around 940 students divided between two school buildings. The school consists largely of newly built and renovated premises, creating fantastic opportunities for pedagogical development. Job Description

We are looking for you who have a big heart and a genuine commitment to helping every individual grow and develop!

You will be part of the student health team and coordinate various support measures for students. The work includes mapping and investigations based on, among other things, classroom observations, as well as developing action plans based on students' knowledge, experiences, and needs. Primarily, you will work with students in grades 4–9. The position has a focus on reading and writing, where you have experience in preventing, identifying, and creating interventions for students at both group and individual levels.

The role also involves development work, follow-up of action plans, and serving as a qualified conversation partner and supervisor for pedagogues. The supervisory role involves working with work teams and pedagogues to develop collaboration and cooperation, both within the team and between home and school, to ensure the student receives adequate support. Quality assurance is an important part of the work. It is natural for us to actively work on school development and all learning environments from a grades F-9 and after-school care perspective.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree as a special needs teacher or special educator. We would like you to have a few years of experience in this professional role. It is important that you have experience in supervision. You see both the needs of the individual student and the possibilities of the group. Based on your experience and clear leadership, you shape a secure and inspiring learning environment for both students and colleagues.

Your ability to interact is very good, and in collaboration with colleagues and parents, you create the best possible conditions for each student. You are driven to develop students, yourself, and the organization you work in. You see collegial learning as a success factor and dare to try new things and share both good and less good experiences. You are well grounded in current steering documents and are up to date with research in the field.

It is particularly meritorious if you have an educational background in Swedish and Swedish as a second language for grades 4–9.
