RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help create a meaningful and fun everyday life for our students? Jens Billeskolan is now looking for a driven, cheerful, and positive teacher for the leisure-time center (fritidshem) who is also qualified in Physical Education (PE). Here, you get the chance to help develop our work with safe recesses and structured leisure activities combined with free play, as well as teach lower primary grades and grade 7 in PE.

It is important that you have good pedagogical knowledge and the ability to create engagement and joy in work. You use a low-affective approach and are able to meet a broad spectrum of needs among your students. We are looking for someone who is cooperative, unpretentious, and flexible. You find the balance between working with high energy and joy while also maintaining structure and clear boundaries.

You also have a strong commitment to creating safe, creative, and educational environments for students.

You are a person who finds it easy to collaborate and build trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. At the same time, you understand systematic quality work and want to actively contribute to the continued development of the leisure-time center.

During the school day, your work is partly directed towards PE, where you are partially responsible for PE teaching in grades 1-3 and grade 7, and partly as a recess supervisor, as well as individual and joint planning based on assignments and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed teacher for leisure-time center and Physical Education.

As a teacher for leisure-time center with a focus on PE and health, teaching in the subject of PE and health for students in grades 1-3 is included. The position (vacation coverage) is shared between school and leisure-time center.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

The position is full-time (vacation coverage, 40 hours per week), permanent employment. Start date August 3, 2026, or by agreement.
