We are looking for a special needs teacher (speciallärare) on a full- or part-time basis. Please specify in your application which extent you are interested in.

Your responsibilities

• Strengthen the school's work with language-developing teaching methods together with colleagues.
• In collaboration with special educators, map students' difficulties and develop the school's work with special support.
• Work with differentiated instruction to meet students' varying needs within both classroom settings and smaller groups.
• Conduct pedagogical assessments and analyze learning environments to identify where difficulties arise.
• Act as a qualified discussion partner and advisor to teaching colleagues regarding the development of instruction.

Requirements for the position:

• Teaching license with qualification to teach Swedish.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish National Agency for Education's regulatory documents, curricula, and assessment criteria.
• Started or completed education in the Special Needs Teacher Programme – Language, Writing, and Reading Development.

Victum Gymnasium is located in central Helsingborg, next to Helsingborg C. The school is housed in a beautiful building with pleasant facilities and views of the Öresund Strait. Just over 210 students and around 20 employees meet here daily. The school offers the Healthcare and Care Program, Child and Youth Program, and the Introductory Program. Victum is an independent upper secondary school run by Victum AB, a family-owned education company that has operated in Helsingborg since 2002.
