Are you passionate about movement, community, and creating an active school day for students? Here, you will play a vital role in sports, recess activities, and after-school care operations. Your Role

As an after-school teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on education in the after-school care program based on the goals of the curriculum. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and academically.

You work in the after-school care program and collaborate with the school's other staff during the school day. With your expertise in sports and movement, you plan and lead activities that promote joy in movement, participation, and community. You also play a central role in the school's work with active recesses and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where students are offered meaningful activities throughout the day.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on education and activities in the after-school care program and recess activities.
• Supporting students pedagogically during school hours as a resource in the classroom.
• Creating structure and safety through clear leadership.
• Collaborating with guardians, colleagues, and other professionals at the school.
• Participating in systematic quality work and contributing to the development of the activity.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Is educated and licensed as an after-school teacher.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has good knowledge and insight into the school's governing documents and applies them in your daily work.
• Has experience in planning, organizing, and implementing after-school and recess activities.
• Has good didactic and pedagogical skills that underpin your planning and teaching.
• Can independently conduct teaching in one or more subjects if the need arises.
• Is swimming proficient, as you will participate when children have swimming lessons.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working with inclusive learning environments and have good knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD).

Harlösa School is a K-6 school with approximately 100 students and is part of the school area Härlösa/Flyinge/Ölyckeskolan with a common principal.
