Project Manager for Meaningful Development Project in Health and Employment
This position offers you the opportunity to lead a meaningful development project with a clear focus on health, inclusion, and pathways to self-sufficiency. You will become part of the Employment Unit in Höganäs Municipality and work together with dedicated colleagues and partners who want to make a real difference for the municipality's residents.
The position is a project employment at 75% until 2028-06-30, located at the Employment Unit in Höganäs Municipality. The start date is in week 38.

About the Employment Unit
The Municipal Executive Office (KLK) is one of the municipality's departments and is responsible for leading and coordinating a range of various municipal-wide assignments. In addition to strategically steering and coordinating the municipality's projects, the task is to be the ultimate support for the municipality's seven departments. To identify needs, analyze, create conditions, propose solutions, and challenge aspects that are important for the municipality, the group, and our societal development. All carried out with quality, heart, and a touch of attitude.
Job Responsibilities
Main areas of responsibility
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, implementing, and following up on the project "Nature is the Cure," whose purpose is to strengthen work capacity, health, and establishment on the labor market for individuals in Höganäs Municipality who are far from work and studies. The Project Manager ensures that the project is carried out according to the ESF Council's requirements, the project plan, and the municipality's guidelines.
The Project Manager shall:
- Operationally lead the project team consisting of supervisors, coaches, language supporters, and administrative staff.
- Ensure that the team works according to the project's methodology: individualized support, health-promoting approaches, and nature-based activities.
- Organize regular team meetings, participant follow-ups, and steering group meetings.
- Monitor participants' progress and ensure documentation according to ESF requirements.
Follow-up, Quality, and Results
- Conduct continuous evaluations and adjust working methods as needed.
- Ensure that the project works in line with the horizontal principles: equality, accessibility, and non-discrimination.
- Be responsible for the project's budget and financial follow-up in collaboration with the financial officer.
- Be responsible for internal and external communication regarding the project's purpose, results, and activities.
- Contribute to the dissemination of the project's lessons learned and methods.
Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you need to be confident, structured, and driving. You have an easy time building trust, creating relationships, and getting people to work towards common goals. You thrive in a coordinating role where you switch between strategic work, practical problem-solving, and close collaboration with both participants, colleagues, and external actors. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant university education or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Experience in project management.
- Good ability to plan, structure, follow up, and report work based on goals, timeline, and budget.
- Experience of collaboration with authorities, municipal operations, civil society, or employers.
- Good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish.
- Interest in nature-based and health-promoting approaches.
- Experience working with target groups who are far from work and studies.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience with ESF projects or other externally funded activities.
- Knowledge of labor market issues, rehabilitation, Supported Employment, BIP, Case Management, or motivational interviewing.
Employment Terms
Fixed-term employment. Duration: Ends 2028-06-30.
