We are now looking for two support educators for one of our LSS residences in Sjöbo
The residence consists of six apartments for people with various functional variations and is staffed by an engaged team of 14 employees. Our work always starts from the individual's needs, strengths, and wishes, with the goal of creating participation and meaning in everyday life.
As a support educator, you will become an important part of the team and contribute with competence in clear pedagogy and communication support.
We are part of a joint planning area together with other LSS operations in the municipality, which provides good opportunities for collaboration and development. Our daily life is characterized by activity – walks, swimming, cycling, and other meaningful elements based on the customers' interests.

Job Responsibilities
As a support educator at our LSS residence, you will be a key person in our team. You work closely with the customers and contribute with advanced pedagogical competence to create a safe, structured, and meaningful everyday life.
The role includes planning and following up on interventions, supervising colleagues, and ensuring that the work is based on evidence-based methods, clear pedagogy, and low-affective handling. You use aids and technology that support the customer's individual needs and work to create good living conditions.
You have a supervisory role towards colleagues and collaborate with the manager, care educators, and other professions to jointly contribute to the customer's best interest. Documentation in the operation system, delegated health and medical care tasks, and development work within the unit are a natural part of your assignment.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Support educator education or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of experience working within LSS.
- Knowledge of clear pedagogy and low-affective handling, and the ability to put these into practice.
- Driver's license and good computer skills.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
- It is an advantage if you have experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and MI (Motivational Interviewing).
