We are now looking for a Support Pedagogue for our Service Housing!

Here, we work with support and services in accordance with the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), with the goal that every individual should be able to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible. Our work is based on each person's needs, wishes, and right to self-determination.

The housing is located centrally in Sjöbo, with close proximity to both nature and public services, creating good conditions for an active daily life together with our residents. The team working here is engaged, collaborates closely, and supports each other in daily work.

The service housing is part of a joint planning area, which means that as an employee, you may work at a nearby unit within the same area if needed. This provides both variety in tasks and a broader understanding of the operation as a whole.

Digital Selection Process

In this recruitment, we use a digital selection process where the focus is on your competence. Therefore, we do not accept cover letters. Instead, ensure that your CV is up to date. After you submit your application, you will be invited to complete a digital interview, which is a fundamental part of the selection process.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Pedagogue at our service housing, you will become a key person in our team. You will work closely with the residents and contribute advanced pedagogical competence to create a safe, structured, and meaningful daily life.

The role includes planning and following up on interventions, supervising colleagues, and ensuring that the work is based on evidence-based methods, clarifying pedagogy, and low-affective handling. You use aids and technology that support the resident's individual needs and work to create good living conditions.

You have a supervisory role towards colleagues and collaborate with the manager, care pedagogues, and other professions to jointly contribute to the resident's best interests. Documentation in the operational system, delegated health and medical care tasks, and development work within the unit are a natural part of your assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • A Support Pedagogue education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience working within LSS.

  • A driver's license and good computer skills.
  • Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and MI (Motivational Interviewing) is considered an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a pedagogical and solution-focused approach, and values good collaboration. You are flexible, responsible, and have the ability to create structure and meaning in daily life.

We place great importance on personal suitability.
