We are now looking for a Junior Legal Counsel who wants to support Plejd's legal function during an exciting and intense period related to the company's IPO work. This role is suitable for you if you are a newly graduated lawyer or at the beginning of your career, and you want to gain practical experience in legal work in a rapidly growing tech company.
We wish to fill the position as soon as possible after the summer. The employment is fixed-term and will last until the summer of 2027.

About the roleIn this role, you will be part of Plejd's IPO work while simultaneously supporting the ongoing legal work in the business. You will work closely with the legal function and quickly gain insight into how law interacts with business, technology, and corporate governance in a rapidly growing company.
The work includes, among other things, legal documentation related to the IPO process, corporate law issues, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, as well as reviewing and drafting agreements. You will also have contact with internal stakeholders and external advisors on various legal matters.

We believe you have:- A law degree
- Up to 1–2 years of relevant work experience from, for example, a law firm or an in-house legal function. However, we value potential and personal fit highly and welcome applications from newly graduated candidates with a strong interest in business law.
- Good understanding of general corporate law and commercial law.
- Very good written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with several different stakeholders.
Previous legal experience, especially in corporate law, commercial contracts, or regulatory compliance, is meritorious but not a requirement.
